KK MLADOST - BITOLA 

ISTORIJA na KK Mladost

The name of our basketball club is KK “Mladost”- Bitola , Macedonia . The club is founded in 1997. During the period of  10 years in the club there were 722 young players-boys and girls (between 7-18 years old). Every year, men teams takes place in the championships of our country regularly.

Since the beginning of 2001 girl team takes place in the championship, too.

The number of all the players in the men and girl teams is 150, in several groups depending of how old they are.

The most important successes of the boy’s teams are:

 

* The Champions of Macedonia , young cadettes - boys born 1990 (season 2003/04);

* The Champions of Macedonia , cadetts - boys born 1990 (season 2004/05);

* 4th place in National championship, juniors - boys born 1988 (season 2004/05);

* 3rd place in National championship, juniors - boys born 1988 (season 2005/06);

* The winner of the Memorial tournament, cadettes - boys born 1983 (in 1999);

* The winner of the Memorial tournament, cadettes - boys born 1983 (in 2000);

* The winner of the Memorial tournament, cadettes - boys born 1986 (in 2000).

 

 

The most important successes of the girl’s teams are:

 

* 2nd place in National championship, young cadettes - girls born 1994 (season 2005/06).

  * 3rd place in National championship, young cadettes - girls born 1994 (season 2006/07).

 

The boy’s and the girl’s team took participation of International tournaments around Europe :

 

* 3rd place on International tournament in Lonay-Switzerland 2002 (girls born 1987);

* 4th place on International tournament in Limoges-France 2003 (boys born 1988);

* 5th place on International tournament in Vienna-Austria 2004 (boys born 1988);

* 4th place on International tournament in Ostrava-Czech Republic 2005 (boys born 1988);

* 3rd place on International tournament in Goteborg-Sweden 2006 (boys born 1990).

* 2nd place on International tournament in Limoges-France 2007 (boys born 1992);

* 7th place on International tournament in Martigues-France 2008 (boys born 1990);

*5th place on International tournament in Marseille-France 2008 (boys born 1995).
